Mrs. Margie Williams is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) qualified to practice psychiatry, diagnose, treat, and prescribe up-to-date psychiatric medications for children, adolescents, and adults. Margie began her career over 20 years ago, helping and assisting clients in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals. After spending time helping people with their medical and emotional problems, she realized this was her calling. She then obtained her nursing degree in 2005, continuing her education until obtaining her Degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Margie sees her profession as a ministry, helping those who struggle mentally, physically, and emotionally. She feels rewarded when she can help someone achieve hope and a positive outcome.
Margie uses her spare time to enjoy her family and to keep her mental well-being safe. Her five children, six grandchildren, and husband of 30 years keep her busy but filled with love and joy. Moreover, for the last 20 years, Margie has been using arts and crafts to release tension and get some mental health debriefing. She loves making t-shirts for family and friends, painting canvases, and building hardwood cabinets. Margie shares how arts and crafts can be an excellent outlet for her patients’ mental well-being as well.
