Join us in our coworking space for monthly events and special trainings that cover all aspects of your mental health practice.
Mental Health Film Club
The last Friday of the month
This free monthly event will provide the opportunity to view films focused on behavioral health topics and discuss their implications for our work. This month, we'll watch the first part of "Hiding in Plain Sight: Youth Mental Illness." The Practice NW will provide a popcorn bar with lots of fun seasoning options, ingredients for making mocktails or cocktails featuring Simple Goodness Sisters' syrups, Rishi tea, and Nespresso coffee (caff and decaff)
Policy & Practice Potluck
The second Tuesday of every month from 5:30pm to 7:00pm (open to public)
Join us for a monthly conversation to discuss the impacts of state and federal policy on local mental health practice and identify policy changes that would increase equitable access to high-quality, culturally-attuned services provided by economically- and emotionally-sustainable behavioral health private practices.
Please bring your insights and snacks or a dish to share if time allows! As host of the gathering, The Practice NW will provide the space and tasty beverages for those who participate. We will open our co-working space for community use two hours before the potluck begins.
NeuroRelational Framework Training
January 12th and 13th, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Toxic stress is responsible for learning and behavior challenges in both children and adults. The NeuroRelational Framework is an equitable, trauma-informed, neurodiversity-sensitive tool for healing toxic stress across the lifespan. This 2-day training with Betty Peralta will cover why the NeuroRelational Framework is a disruptor of the cradle to prison pipeline and how to use it to better meet the needs of the families you serve. A 4-session community of practice is also available for implementation support.
