Policy & Practice Potluck
The second Tuesday of every month from 5:30pm to 7:00pm (open to public)
Join us for a monthly conversation to discuss the impacts of state and federal policy on local mental health practice and identify policy changes that would increase equitable access to high-quality, culturally-attuned services provided by economically- and emotionally-sustainable behavioral health private practices.
Please bring your insights and snacks or a dish to share if time allows! As host of the gathering, The Practice NW will provide the space and tasty beverages for those who participate. We will open our co-working space for community use two hours before the potluck begins.
NeuroRelational Framework Training
January 12th and 13th, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Toxic stress is responsible for learning and behavior challenges in both children and adults. The NeuroRelational Framework is an equitable, trauma-informed, neurodiversity-sensitive tool for healing toxic stress across the lifespan. This 2-day training with Betty Peralta will cover why the NeuroRelational Framework is a disruptor of the cradle to prison pipeline and how to use it to better meet the needs of the families you serve. A 4-session community of practice is also available for implementation support.
